Joel Schumacher
Joel Schumacher is an associate extension specialist with the Department of Agricultural Economics
at Montana State University. He holds a Master's degree in applied economics and a
Bachelor's degree in business from Montana State University. Joel also is an Accredited
Financial Counselor (AFC). Joel has authored or coauthored more than two dozen educational
guides and presented more than 100 educational outreach programs to over three thousand
participants. Prior to his current position, Joel worked as a pension analyst for
a full service third party administration firm. He was responsible for the oversight
of approximately 60 retirement plans.
